Lure Fish Bar is kind of like an ocean liner which has been successfully installed in a basement in Soho, NY. Weird as it sounds, you do really expect the captain of the Love Boat to come and welcome you on board at the door but, regardless of the decor, it it does stop short of being that ‘twee’. The ’surf and turf’ was the big winner of the night, steak perfectly cooked, with the grilled swordfish coming a very close second. The only downside of this restaurant was the service which was a little inattentive. Food’s great though and worth a visit to feel like taking a turn around the deck after dinner!
