Also in the popular category of ‘Asian Fusion’, Kittichai serves up magic predominately Thai style cuisine from the ground floor of the very swish 60 Thompson Hotel in Greenwich Village, NY. It has a lovely relaxed interior with a lily pond in the middle of the dining floor and orchids liberally scattered around. Yummy cocktails including original drinks like a Ginger Lemongrass Highball and Muddled Grapes with Coconut. The food was also pretty good. We went for the thai beef salad, sea bass and wok fried chicken dishes. Best of all was the banana spring roll for desert! Very unique. Topped off with terrific service and an unpretentious atmosphere, Kittichai is definitely a winner.
