Banana Box is a very high quality African homewares and craft store. It has a great range of wooden bowls, implements, carvings and lots of other stuff! I bought the most lovely gold framed mirror there and was desperate to buy a little three-legged stool to match but alas, I could never fit it in the overhead locker on the British Airways flight home.

There are loads of great textiles as well which you can dig through to find the right colours to fit whatever your decorating vision is. Another recommendation is the little african combs that have been framed. They are so delicate and exquisite! The most brilliant thing is the fact that it is located directly opposite the DHL office so if, like me, you see something large that you love enough, you can nip across the corridor and send it on home! Oh…I wish I’d bought that stool!!!
