Whoa! This is the place to go in Galway for fish and chips. In fact, if you are on the west coast of Ireland…it’s still the place to go for fish and chips! So good! It’s split into two sections. The main seafood bar is more like a fish and chip shop counter with communal tables to eat your catch. On the other side of the restaurant is the table service area which serves a full a-la-carte menu of seafood. The quality is outstanding!

We went for the big shellfish seafood platter which had a selection of oysters, prawns, scallops, mussels and a couple of crab claws thrown in for good measure. Even though there were about 20 types of fish on the menu, we all went for the classic battered cod and chips. There was a very big queue for the table service section when we were there and on other days when we passed it, the queue was out the door. However, given the awesome meal we had there, this is completely understandable!
