The last one of a lovely french restaurant chain, Pierre Victoire is a bit of a locals London secret. The food is very very good and the service matches. If you arrive without a booking and there are no tables, the owner asks you to wait in the pub across the road and he’ll come to fetch you when your table is ready! Some nights there is a piano player on the ground floor. The ground floor is nicer than the basement but not so much so that you wouldn’t eat there if you couldn’t get a ground floor table. A winner every time we’ve been there. The steak is highly recommended.
